Sulfates are most commonly used in shampoos to rid the scalp of dirt and excess oil. However, the problem with chemical sulfates is that they are quite harsh on the scalp. This causes more and more people to experience itchy and dry hair, as chemical sulfates can strip all natural oils from the hair, which is problematic. The hair needs its natural oils, as these help to protect and moisturize the hair. It is therefore important to choose a mild shampoo that still effectively cleanses your hair, but in the right way, without irritating your scalp and hair.

At NATURIGIN, you will not find chemical sulfates in our shampoos. In addition, all our shampoos are certified with the Nordic Swan Ecolabel and are vegan, so you can be sure that what you use in your hair is not harmful to your body. Our shampoo is therefore perfect for those who have sensitive skin, whether it is because you cannot tolerate sulfates or perfume.

All of our shampoos are silicone-free. Silicone is an ingredient that can add shine and smoothness, but the fact is that silicone can irritate your scalp and damage your hair over time. The problem with silicone is that it forms an invisible film on your hair and scalp that can lead to clogged pores. The result is a dry, itchy, flaky scalp and weighed-down hair. By choosing a silicone-free shampoo, you can promote a fluffier feel to your hair. This will prevent it from feeling heavy or clogging pores, which can inhibit hair growth in the long term. We therefore advise against using a shampoo with silicones if you tend to lose hair, as this will only make your hair loss worse in the long r

Color-treated hair requires special care. This is mainly because colored hair needs a lot of moisture, as hair color can put a lot of strain on the hair and scalp. So you need a shampoo with nourishing ingredients that are kind to the color, hair and scalp.

The shampoo therefore consists of aloe vera, sea kale and blueberries. Together, the ingredients sooth the scalp and protect your hair from sun exposure, wind and weather. The shampoo therefore helps to preserve the color of your hair and helps to make it more vibrant and shiny.

We recommend washing your hair 2-3 times a week, and this applies to all hair types.
We recommend using about 8ml of shampoo twice for long hair (about a small handful). Your hair is clean when our shampoo starts to foam. Be sure to rinse all of the shampoo well so that no residue remains in your hair.

The ingredients to avoid in shampoos are chemical sulfates, parabens, silicones, and artificial colors. All of these ingredients can be harmful to your hair as well as the environment. If you have an allergy to fragrance, be sure to choose a shampoo without fragrance.
